Internship Opportunities – India Information Portal

At India Information Portal we believe in sharing knowledge and fostering curiosity about the diverse traditions and innovations of our country. We invite enthusiastic interns to join us for a two‑month internship. Interns will work on a variety of projects and receive a basic stipend upon successfully achieving their objectives.

Areas of work

• Content and image generation: Research and create engaging articles, blog posts and visuals about India’s culture, heritage, economy and innovations.
• Data & market research: Compile data sets and conduct market research to support targeted articles and guides.
• Major and minor projects: Collaborate on larger or smaller projects that advance the portal’s mission—for example, building resource guides, creating interactive tools or planning digital campaigns.
• Other initiatives: We welcome proposals for additional projects aligned with our mission.

Internship Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility & Application: Submit applications via email to contactus@india.co.in.
   • Candidates must be citizens of India and currently enrolled as undergraduates in a recognised or autonomous university in India.
   • Applications may be required to include proof of academic performance and other relevant documents.
   • Applicants from any discipline—including engineering, technology, literature, arts, commerce or science—are welcome.
2. Duration & Objectives: Each internship lasts approximately two months. Interns will receive a basic stipend after successfully achieving objectives agreed upon at the start of the internship.
3. Limited openings: The number of internship positions is limited. Submission of an application does not guarantee an offer.
4. Selection process: India Information Portal reserves the sole right to shortlist and select candidates. All decisions are final; we are not obliged to provide specific reasons for non‑selection.
5. Confidentiality & conduct: Interns must respect confidentiality and copyright guidelines, adhere to professional standards, and follow the rules and policies of India Information Portal.
6. Intellectual property: All content, data sets and other materials produced during the internship belong to India Information Portal.
7. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate an internship at any time for performance, policy violations or without any specific reason.
